WHAT IS THE

POWER OF WE?

to combat gender-based violence both on and off the mountains

What We Do.

How We Do It.

We are committed to addressing gender-based violence holistically, through seven pillars of impact that both our partner organizations and our own programs embody.

Forget Fundraising Galas.
We're Climbing Mountains Instead.

Through our Survivors to Summits campaignwe will be climbing one of the seven summits for each pillar of impact to skill-match, fundraise and coalition-build in support of our work on and off the mountains.

We climb, on our dime (and with thanks to our sponsors), and you help us end gender-based violence worldwide.

Thank you to our sponsors:

Who We Are.

Anjali is a human rights and law of war attorneyspeaker, professional dancer, and athlete who has been passionate about addressing gender-based violence for the past decade. She is a TEDx speaker and Fulbright Scholarship grantee.

Anjali has worked at the intersection of women's rights, gender-based violence, art, and law in India, the U.K., Colombia, Brazil, and Chile.

Her work as a lawyer includes representing foreign governments in human rights cases before international courts, achieving asylum for asylum-seekers persecuted on the basis of their gender, and working on Constitutional rights cases to protect the rights of transgender girl athletes in the U.S.

As a dancer, Anjali explores themes of social justice through art, and developed a somatic movement workshop for lawyers that she presented at Yale Law School's Rebellious Lawyering Conference and at NYU School of Law. Her movement films have been nominated for several awards, including at the Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase, and Anjali has received a Bessie nomination for outstanding performer for her achievement in dance.

She has been climbing mountains for as long as she can remember (her latest: Aconcagua), all thanks to her incredible mother, and looks forward to bringing all parts of herself to bear as Co-Founder and Co-Director of What is the Power of We?.
